Last week the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce came to Sacramento for the issues most important to our region. The delegation of San Diego’s top business leaders and policy advocates spent a productive two days discussing a wide range of issues with legislators including tax policy, small business issues, healthcare, CEQA reform, water and infrastructure funding.
Board Member Harkey was the keynote speaker at the delegation’s Capitol lunch, discussing how her office can partner with the Chamber to keep businesses growing and jobs flowing. She shared stories of her success in helping small business owners and explained the resources available to chamber members and the greater San Diego business community.
The San Diego Regional Chamber under the helm of former Mayor Sanders has been a model of successful leadership in the business community. It’s encouraging to see their membership and leaders like Jerry Rebel looking ahead and advocating for a better business climate in San Diego.
