The San Diego History Center will be honoring businesses that have been in San Diego for 100 years or more at their “Makers of San Diego Tribute Dinner” on April 26 in Mission Valley.
The list of Centurion businesses includes the U-T San Diego, Hotel del Coronado and the Mission Hills Nursery. Additionally there are several businesses that are still owned by the founding families such as Jessop Jewelers, H.G. Fenton developers and A.O. Reed plumbing.
These businesses are fixtures in the community and have stood the test of time by providing the highest quality goods and services to San Diego and beyond. They also provide countless jobs to San Diegans and have led the way for job creation in the region through good times and bad.
Thank you for continuing to do business in San Diego, and here’s to another century of prosperity and job creation.
