Westminster Record Keeping & Employee Payroll Workshop

Board Member Diane Harkey’s office recently hosted a packed house with over 60 business owners who attended the Record Keeping & Employee Payroll Workshop at the Westminster Chamber of Commerce. Business Owners learned the general sales and use tax recordkeeping requirements for the majority of businesses in California.  Board Member Harkey’s office hosts these workshops to focus on education over enforcement.  Proper record keeping saves time for the business owner and the Board of Equalization, and helps taxpayers avoid fees and penalties for non-compliance.

This event was co-sponsored by Assemblywoman Young Kim, Supervisor of Orange County’s First District Andrew Do, Employment Development Department (EDD), The City of Westminster, and The Westminster Chamber of Commerce.
