The terrorist attacks on September, 11, 2001 will be remembered today in cities and towns across the United States. That day had a monumental effect on our nation and introduced the evils of the world to America’s doorstep. We are thankful for the absolute bravery of our police, firefighters, first-responders and ordinary citizens. These selfless men and women represent the best of America because they rose to the occasion and did not stop until the job was done. These are our heroes!
On this anniversary, we should all pause and reflect for the victims of terrorism in New York, at the Pentagon, and in Pennsylvania, but all over the world. As Americans, our generosity, sense of community and resolve will always defeat those who only celebrate destruction.
Today, we should commemorate the bravery on display in 2001 and never forget that we as a nation remain strong.
