On September 9th The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce held their annual Small Business Awards at the Quartyard in the East Village. The majority of the chambers 2,500 members are small businesses. According to the Chamber, 74% of local businesses have less than 10 employees. Rick Bregman, San Diego market president for Bank of America, which sponsored the event said, “These are the companies that have the potential to be the next big thing.” Small businesses like these are what make the fourth district and California golden.
