California has often been an icon in the United States, a cultural mixing pot including a variety of unique people. This diversity can lead to a tasty conundrum when choosing where to eat. In a recent survey by Yelp listing the top one hundred restaurants in the US for 2016, a whopping forty of them landed in California! (See the full Yelp list)
With California housing just over twelve percent of the US population and holding forty percent of the US’s total of delicious restaurants, it really brings new life to the time-aged question of ‘Where should we eat today?’ At least we know that phrase won’t be leaving California any time soon!
Continuing with California’s wealth of decadent food, twenty-three of the forty restaurants fall in the fourth district, officially making it the most delicious district in the U.S. With so many new restaurants opening throughout the fourth district, there’s no telling how many more are to come!
