BOE Information Officer Lance Christiansen presents to Temecula Entrepreneurs
By Lance Christiansen
There’s little doubt that the “mom and pop business on the corner” has evolved into the “mom and pop business upstairs” as more and more home and Internet businesses are popping up in today’s corporate landscape. That’s why Board of Equalization Vice Chair Diane Harkey held her second Internet and Home-Based Business Workshop Tuesday, this time at the Temecula Valley Entrepreneur’s Exchange. Cosponsored by Senator Jeff Stone, Assembly Member Marie Waldron, and the City of Temecula, the workshop focused on Internet business topics like taxability of digital content, drop shipping, and district tax. BOE Information Officer Lance Christiansen enjoys instructing the class. “They’re an eager group of new entrepreneurs who want to learn and do things the right way.”
