The beautiful North County city of Fallbrook is known for its rolling hills, and a bustling economy with positive job growth and delicious avocados. Fallbrook recently received a visit from Board of Equalization (BOE) Information Officer Lance Christiansen for a free taxpayer education class. The BOE and groups like the Northern San Diego County SBDC provide free resources to small businesses and entrepreneurs interested in learning ways to boost their business.

Attendees at the recent workshop learned the ins and outs of basic recordkeeping for small business. The event was co-sponsored by the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce and proved to be a huge success as small business owners in Fallbrook received instruction on what kind of records to keep, in what form, and for how long. Many attendees left feeling relieved that they received helpful information to make their small businesses thrive.
