At our second annual holiday and small business open house, I presented a $5,000 check from the Barona Band of Mission Indians to the Edward B. Cole R. Academy, a Santa Ana-based charter school.

Thanks to Santa Ana Unified Board Member Ceci Iglesias and Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do, I learned about and nominated Edward B. Cole R. Academy to help support the great work they do in our community and further their English language curriculum.

The well attended holiday party was graciously hosted by James Renick at his beautiful Renick Cadillac dealership in Fullerton. The evening featured Fullerton Mayor Jennifer Fitzgerald. Thank you to  my co-hosts, the North Orange County Chamber of Commerce and the Korean American Grocers Association for making the special evening possible.
